On Line Registration for Returning and New Students
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year must be completed online by Tuesday, August 11.
The first day of school for 2026-27 will be Thursday, August 13.
Our district recently upgraded to a new version of Skyward called Qmlativ, or Q for short.
Payment for the school year can be made online during the registration process or through your Skyward account. Check or cash payments can be mailed or dropped off to the building your student will be attending.
Please note there are some fees at the middle school and high school levels that are non-refundable. Check your cart carefully before completing any purchases.

Questions about Skyward?
Q: When I try to login, it's telling me it's locked. What do I do?
A: You need to make sure you are using the new link for Skyward: Skyward Q Family Access
We recommend removing any bookmarks you have from the old site and changing it to this one.
Q: Do I need a new app?
A: Yes. We recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Skyward Mobile Access app. You will need to setup your account again. We have also found that if you have the app on your phone, opening the app will start a reinstall procedure.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Kewanee Preschool Program is funded by the Illinois State Board of Education as a PFA (Preschool For ALL) program. As such, all new students are required to go through a screening process to determine eligibility as we do not use Skyward online registration to enroll PK students.
If you are considering enrolling your child in our program, please email the following information to dbrants@kcud229.org and we will call you to set up a screening time. Thank you!!

• Address
• Parent/Guardian name
• Number where you can be reached
• Parent's email address
Please note: Providing this information does not enroll your child in our fall program. He/She must be screened first to determine eligibility.
