The State of Illinois salutes 10 Kewanee High School Students as “the best and the brightest”.
Kewanee High School is pleased to announce that 10 students have been recognized as 2017-2018 Illinois State Scholars.
The prestigious award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission {ISAC} to recognize students from across the state as this year’s State Scholars.
An Illinois State Scholar winner ranks in the top ten percent of high school seniors from 749 high schools across the state. Selection is based on SAT, ACT, and Prairie State Achievement Exam scores, and class rank at the end of the junior year. Students are encouraged to cite the award on applications for college admissions and scholarships.
