Mrs. Yarger’s 1st Grade Class had some fairy tale fun this week as they finished their unit on fairy tales. Students read Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The 3 Little Pigs and learned about the morals of each story. The students practiced perseverance and hard work as they constructed their own versions of the pig houses out of toothpicks, tape, popsicle sticks, and gumdrops. Their creations were then put to the test to see if they could stand up to the the “Big Bad Wolf.”
