Neponset Grade school students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade collected baking items through the month of November for the Western Bureau County Food Pantry in Sheffield. Students were able to donate over 500 baking items for the holiday season, such as cake and muffin mixes, flour, sugar, and frosting to benefit local Neponset and surrounding Bureau County families. Neponset students also collected teddy bears and stuffed animals to donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
