“The Kewanee High School Pep Band and National Anthem Choir were invited to perform at the December 21st professional hockey match between the Peoria Rivermen and the Quad City Storm. During the event, the Stanley Cup was on display and drew a crowd of over 5,000 to the Peoria Civic Center.”
