23 students were inducted into the Kewanee High School National Honor Society on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Good’s Gymnasium, with a dinner held in their honor from PL Damron’s Catering. Inductees are required to have a 3.5 GPA, and at least 10 hours of community service to be considered for membership. The guest speaker was past graduate, Mr. Jon DeBord from the class of 1992. Mr. DeBord spoke to the members, inductees, and their guest on how setting goals and staying focused early in life taught him to push forward to get him where he is today. Mr. DeBord owns and operates Kewanee Physical Therapy and Rehab, and the Lott here in Kewanee.
