The students at Belle Alexander have been learning about different jobs and careers during their social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons this month. To have some fun and help a good cause, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students had the chance to dress up as their future career choice for a penny donation to help out the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Pennies for Patients” program. Students raised over 6,000 pennies ($60 dollars) to help create a world without cancer.
