The Central Steamers’ junior high softball team will put its 16-1 record on the line Friday, Sept. 7th as postseason play begins.
The Steamers are the top seed in the Germantown Hills AA IESA Regional and host Washington Beverly Manor at 5 p.m. Friday at Northeast Park. This will be the Steamers’ only home game of the postseason.
With a win, the Steamers would advance and play the winner between Washington and Metamora Saturday at Germantown Hills Middle School in the regional semifinal.
The regional championship game is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10.
