Central Jr High 8th grade volleyball player Harper G. was presented with a signed volleyball from KHS senior Molly W. before Thursdays varsity game against BV. The two partnered up in a passing contest during the Central jr high summer volleyball camp to pass the ball 5,000 consecutive times. This is a new record for the camp, surpassing the old record of 4,445 passes set in 2009 by then KHS player Shannon Sellers and Central 8th grader Alysh Oetzel.
