Mrs. Johnson’s adult living class prepared a menu of Thanksgiving treats for the faculty and staff at Kewanee High School. The Thanksgiving tea is a tradition that began with former teachers Mrs. Shafer and Mrs. Lippens in the 1970s. Students learned how to plan, prepare, and serve food at a social event through this project-based learning activity.
