ewanee High School musicians competed in the IHSA Solo and Ensemble contest on March 2nd at Rockridge High School. KHS students competed in 78 events throughout the day, ranging from solos, duets, trios, and ensembles. Pictured here is the vocal jazz ensemble, which earned a Division I for their performance. A Division I rating is considered “a superior performance, outstanding in nearly every way.” Over 40 entries received this distinction. Thirty-four individual students will receive their Division I medals for these superior performances.
