Central Junior High Builders Club was Recognized today at the Kiwanis Meeting for their Success in Leadership within our school and community.
Our officers H Ince, President, H Peed, Vice President, and A DeSchepper, Secretary represented our 29 members in Builders Club at Central Junior High.
During the Luncheon our president spoke in front of 50+ attending about the accomplishments within our school and community thus far this year.
Our club has respectively held a Halloween Carnival for the Community, Rang Bells for the Salvation Army, Collected, Sorted, and Delivered Food for the Good Fellow Baskets. Our Club has worked Concession Stands for Basketball, Volleyball, And Wrestling at both the Elementary and Junior High level. We have helped Kiwanis with Peanut Days.
We have helped with Lap Blankets for the nursing homes and the Teddy Bear/Toy Drive for the Children's Hospital.
We have put on a Junior High Dance and plan to have another dance in May.
Our club collected $600 in ticket sales for the upcoming Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day to be held March 16th. We have 12 students volunteering their time to help serve the community at the breakfast.
April 7th, Builders Club will host a Strawberry Festival, Art Show, and Book Fair for the Community.
