Foods Class students at Kewanee High School participated in a week-long course administered by Dorothy David of the Henry County Health Department. Forty students passed the exam and earned their Food Handler Certificate. The certification is required to be able to work in a food establishment. The program was paid for by the McDonald's Restaurant owners, Dennis and Trina Gendron, community partners in the program. In the photo, the students are joined by Dorothy David, Henry County Health Department, Lisa Johnston, Kewanee McDonald's Manager and KHS Family and Consumer Science Teacher, Stephanie Johnson.
